Description
Eucalyptus branches and bedsheet modelled onto 45x60cm canvas with fine filler, overpainted in acrylics.
A piece I started last Saturday, inspired by this digital creation I made three years ago. I've been spending the last few days colouring the branches into blushed flesh tones with acrylics and here's where I want to thank Cassie for her invaluable help and advice in layering colour, without whom it wouldn't have looked half as good! Thank you so much sweetie *hugs* :-)

They're at it again! :DDD Fantastic! I love the addition of coloring Jim. Those branches are looking more and more "human" as you go. I also like the circular pattern on the background, it give the impression of a full moon. Wonderful conceptualization Jim. Excellent work of art! +V+

Sensitive use of very basic materials and restrained use of colour has produced a gentle work of originality which suggests that David Attenborough has missed at least some of the goings on down in the woods ;-) I love the blanket wrapped round knees in wanton abandon.

wow - this is cool... like it - love that subtle change of colours from the cloth the the branches... very well done!!! like those plays of form and materilas, light and shadows!
