Description
Eucalyptus branches and bedsheet modelled onto 45x60cm canvas with fine filler, overpainted in acrylics.
A piece I started last Saturday, inspired by this digital creation I made three years ago. I've been spending the last few days colouring the branches into blushed flesh tones with acrylics and here's where I want to thank Cassie for her invaluable help and advice in layering colour, without whom it wouldn't have looked half as good! Thank you so much sweetie *hugs* :-)

Only branches? Ooo-er, watch it, Jim! You go too far sometimes :-) Without the explicit title this still has a certain ambiguity to my eyes. Marvellous tension in this, between our reaction to colour and shape. I'd write more, but Miew wants to go online!
