Description

I haven't had a chance to really play with Carrara since I got it. Let alone read any of the documentation. So I'm still rendering from a Bryce perspective. This is my Crab model which I've rendered previously in these two pictures: YAFRAY Bryce Carrara gives by far the best resutls. Even considering that I really don't have a clue what I'm doing. Thanks for looking.

Hmmm...definately more photo real than either of the others but then...the ground plane helps that too. Is that a picture or did you create the ground in Carrara?

The ground is a picture. Not really high enough detail for this and I didn't put a bump on it, but I'm testing lighting.

High quality modeling job!...Carrara has an awesome render time and output! Had it a few months now myself, just havent spent any time with it yet...awesome image. This is your best model yet! IMHO...cooler work!

I agree that this is the best render but then the renderer is the main reason I bought Carrara :-). Nice modelling too.
