G'Day Nige, I have been watching as you have climbed to the tower (Have not heard any puffing and panting as you climb). I have read the clues that you have given and did some research of my own. I found the history regarding it and other towers that were built at that time in history on various websites. I find buildings such as this absolutely fascinating and a hobby of mine to read their history. Thankyou for pointing the way for me to discover these particular websites. Best regards, Ian.
