Description

The experimental website my friend Steve and I set up four years ago, synCortex, is being discontinued as we both agree it's served its purpose as an education for us and is no longer required. Time to move on! The other night I went through the music section of my gallery there and salvaged some images I realised I hadn't got copies of here in Oz. I created this one four years ago for the inside cover of Endgame's Metabolism CD - a montage of my own ear and nailbitten fingers, on the theme of feeling sound... Thank you for taking a look and your feedback is always much appreciated :-)

Our 10 year old is deaf and this would be a good simble for sign, she has a coclear implant which is fantastic but still not a match for two good ears. We just dumped our old site and have created a new one which is a lot better.

I know it well, as I have the CD in question, one of Endgame's more challanging outings, I think! This is perfect for the music - cold, inhuman, alien, surreal. Your hands and ear look as hard and cold as a lethal injection of metallic steroids. (Now, I wonder where I got that from?:-). A "classic"!
