Description

"There once was a young and beautiful orange stripped tiger. He was full of energy and life. He bounded into each part of his life with youthful abandon, which never seemed to run out. Along the way of this tigers life, starting with the time he was very young, many unfortunate events happend to the tiger. He tried to rebound the best he could but after each misadventure his color in his beautiful coat started to fade. Little by little, the color left him, and with it his spirit and love for life. The last misadventure was the hardest, the one he could never seem to rebound from completely. By that time, the young beautiful tiger had become older, and with the age his coat faded into the color of rust. The seasons seemed to change for this tiger too, where it was always warm and summer, it had begun to get colder over time. After this last run in with the heart, with life and with fate, his coat had turned into a silvery white color; while his eyes were still the color of the summer sky. The world he knew grew cold and dark around him. The snow began to fall where the sand and grass used to lay, snow flakes blew in the wind that still almost smelled of summer. The colorless tiger grew cold inside, and drew himself in to survive. His will seemed strong, but still every chance he found to leave his world he passed up. It was almost as if he enjoyed the way being cold and icy felt. One day, he stumbled into the path of another, one that was of the same clan as he though not of the exact kin. She was similar in her shape, in the graceful ways she moved, but lacked the markings that made her the same. She stayed with him in his dark cold world many months, boosting him where she could, listening to his stories, and mostly trying to convince him there was a better place for him to be. Over time, he drew away from her and eventually forced her to leave him in his world alone. For you see, Alone is where he told her he belonged. He told her time over that he could never leave that no other place was suitable for a creature such as he. She gave him space but never truly left his world instead choosing to dwell as he did, in the cold and dark. The tiger continued on as he always did, alone and waiting. Waiting for what he didn't know, but he felt when he found what it was he was looking for, he'd surely realize it. The tiger stumbled over many other adventures, but everytime he gathered his chance for greatness he fumbled and let it pass by. Somehow in his heart believing he wasn't worthy of it, believing somehow that he couldn't ever deserve it. He sits in his cold world still, in the snow, waiting... Life passes by, year by year, many wonderful things have passed by, but he sat staring off somehow convinced that couldn't be what he wanted. He passed by a family who loved him, a female who loved him, many good friends"... The mother leans into her daughter pats her hand with a slow smile and rises from the bed. The daughter looks at her mother and says "why, mama"? The mother shrugs her shoulders and merely says "I don't know, I don't even think he does, my heart does break for him though, I think he does it to chase away the best things. I think he desperately is afraid to let go of the past, to move on and reach for something better. For him to do so would mean he couldn't be the 'white tiger' anymore, and that is how he is most comfortably known. I love him too, I believed in him too, and never ever thought things would end up the way they have. I'm sorry I was wrong. That it appears somehow, we both were. Someday though, perhaps things will change". *true story told from mother to daughter, there was more to the story but had to be shortened for space* Silverslope background was used, the millenium Big cat with white tiger texture, My modified pose from one of the pre-poses. My lighting and set up in P4. no post work.
