Description

A little image of Lucia and Sox. (Inspired by a painting by Chrissie Snelling) Apologies to all for being so scarce and so far behind on comments. I've been very, very busy and time just keeps rushing away from me. Hope all are well! Our garden is finally coming together with both flowers and vegetables; next to be planted are my eggplant seedlings. And I'm at war against the snails and slugs! Thanks, as always, for peeking!

Very beautiful image! Lovely composition and colouring. Although Sock's gaze is a little alarming. I have the bad feeling that the golden fishes are going to be decimated ... :)

Snails? Well, throw them to the neighbors. That is what they do too i think. And work? Is it worth all that? When i see this beautyful image i think you should come back to the creative and peaceful days that we all wished for in the past :-)))) . But seriously, i would propose you do more images and less work again. Your talent asks for it.

Good to see you back, Christie. As Walther already suggested, expel those bloody snail to the neighbors garden, because that's the place where they came from! ;) Hopefully we'll see some more of your beautiful images and also say "hi" to your hubby. Cheers, Phil

Cute and excellent render. Wonderful colors and textures (especially on the cat). The pose of the left cat and the water with the fish are so real. Definitely one of your best images.

I really like this one, Christie. Makes me miss my cat, Frankie. I am doing some flower gardening myself. Mostly, it's battling the heat and weeds, but I love the results. Don't you?

Oh, this is so beautiful and full of life. Just adore the composition and those sweet kitties, fish and gorgeous flowers. Gardening in the high country is quite a challenge ... no snails, but virtually every tree and flower I planted last year didn't make it through the winter ... so I get to do it all over again. Geeze ... :o) CC

This is just beautiful. But from what I've heard about Sox, he will have probably jumped into the water and fishing his heart out by now!

This is awesome. The composition, the strong colors, the whole idea! vote Sorry, I am late, but I went for a little trip in the deep woods of Germany with my husband. :)

Beautiful image Djeser! I just love those fish! You've captured the underwater-ness of them so well in this one. Clare says hello to Lucia and tells me to warn her that if she doesn't pay attention, Sox is going to get all the fish!

Salt for the snails and slugs! Put a solid salt "fence" around garden maybe? Meanwhile, such a lovely place with the kitties! :))
