Thank you for your great comments yesterday! Reading them I enjoyed so many different aspects each of you mentioned, and I'll sum up the ones that stroke me (and the other comments were interesting as well, of course!):
  • light-pollution (short_ribs)
  • combination of moving stars as background of a famous landscape; beside that UFO's (deci6el and Svarg)
  • camera's that do not allow long shutter-times like these (Zacko and Dynazty)
  • Galileo Galile

Very impressive, the stars come out really well. When I try taking night pictures with the D70 the stars are too dim - astro photo's something for film cameras only may be ? Have a great holiday :)

we have too many city ligths to do shots like this. and with the smog it would be some weird color. have a wonderful time in th e Alps
