Description

The rotation of the earth can be illustrated by a simple experiment. Put a camera on a tripod, point it towards the stars, open the shutter and keep it open for about half an hour. The result shows well what happens (30 minutes, 50 seconds). The direction of the axis of the earth's rotation is the center around which all stars move along their circular trajectories. I always love these kind of shots. Another great thing is to get some architecture or landscape like Arches National Park in the frame and shoot the sky moving. Wow! Looks like you might have caught a UFO (around the 1 o'clock position) flying past. Nice shot.

Very good work. I'm still working on the 'Earth is Flat' theory. You would get the same affect by spinning a record around on a turn table. (Blond theory not usually accepted by the more educated.)
