Description

It's not a B-24D Liberator, but the cargo/transport version designated C-87. Hope the hookster doesn't mind. There aren't many Liberators of any type around.

Hey y'all, jump over to vkoontz's gallery for a super close-up look and the correct identification. This is actually an early model B-24A or LB30 in British use. Churchill used one to fly to Africa in 1942.

Awesome shot! 'Love it and thanks for sharing. We have one that flies in here usually around Memorial day weekend, If I find they'll be there, I'll try to get a shot and post it.
