Description

This bunnie is a local cotton tail. They are not pests around here and are far between. I have watched this one grow for the past few weeks, living on a small island of grass and a few trees near where I work. I hope it makes it! Cars are the predators in this case. This preteen bunnie needS a chance to grow. Apparently it is accustomed to my dirty white lab coat and did not run but relaxed and posed today..the first chance for a photograph so far. Shot with Nikon D70, Sigma full frame 100-300mm zoom at about 450mm 35mm equivalent.

Wow, great capture Thomas! I've been trying to capture a bunny (photographically, of course), but they invariably run the moment I get anywhere within about 80 feet from them. DOH! Hence, no bunny shots in my gallery! I'll try the white lab coat trick one day! Thanks for the tip! Excellent photo buddy! What a brilliant capture. The paw near the face is a good feature. Timely catch. This DOF is very good as the droplets are seen along with a perfectly clear bunny.
