Description

The Master Sword, forged in Hyrule to fend off evil, and wielded by the Hero of Time, Link. From the Legend of Zelda video game series on the NES, SNES, and N64. The reference art I used for this was from the N64 incarnation, "The Ocarina of Time." The cloth had to be modelled by hand, since Motion Designer was messing up on me. However, I think the results were worth it; I'm proud of the way the folds turned out.

This is nice. But I feel as like the bow is taking away from the sword, the texture is so real on the bow it makes the sword look plastic. By the way love the trigun image.

Not bad. I agree, the textures do need work--especially the sword. Dirty things up with some procedurals. Add some to your Bump and Diffuse channels.

Very cool. The handle must've been the hardest part? My son is still way into Zelda. I've rendered some stuff for him in pencil and vector, but not in 3d. I did make some swords in Lightwave which turned out ok.
