Description
-Onyx Tree Pro was used to make the trees
-Scene is pushing two million polygons with the needles made with a texture map rather then fully modeled as Onyx would like
-Default Scanline Renderer was used
I'd like people's opinion of whether the top two pictures are too bright for being a night scene. Compression for the final render usualy turns out darker I've found though. Secondly which glow settings does everyone prefer for the bottom portal pictures? Thanks for your help!

very nice work god! the brightness is fine by me (better lighter than dark) .i'd prefer the right picture's glow. one comment though. the moon is a bit too big. unfortunately. ps.that onyx tree pro is it a free plugin? if yes, where can i get it?

I agree with aga22, the second glow is more realistic. It all looks like night to me, especially one lit with a full moon.

I prefer both on the left side. I really like the moon and I always like darker images. I usualy reduce the polys with polygon eater, convert to a mesh just to get eater off the top of the stack because it's a resource hog. then dupe the needles and reduce the size a tad for fuller pines. I do like your transmaped needles

I agree with Lon. Think about a pine tree outside at night, and wether or not you could see into the tree. No, of course not... i think the pictures on the left are best... the forest pic on the right appears as thou there is an omni light in the center of those trees. Nice work thou... very nice trees

Nice work God...Its kinda funny I have a short movie I did that looks very similar...your use of color is much better though.

I know your getting close to 2million polygons, but i think the moon could do with a few more sround the edge. Fanatstic stuff though...
