I am not quite sure how Thatcher persuaded anyone she was Queen Victoria, or the least bit "moral" for that matter, but the return to traditional values that never existed in the first place was a central part of her program. She was decisive in pushing the Elder Bush into the first Iraq War.....With his hands on Kuwait, Hussein, naturally, would have lowered oil prices and sold Kuwaiti crude at a vast discount, hehe. Neither British nor American Oil interests could permit that, hoho....

Typical of what used to be a labourers cottage, or probably two. Nice shot of what is now an idylic country retreat. Though if it were me I want roses round the door too :D

Wow! What an awesome home (hate the tiny front yard though). What a delightful find! It's like a storybook house, perhaps out of Hansel and Gretel, or Little Red Riding Hood, or one of those world-famous children's books. Over the river and through the woods, to grandmothers house... OK, I'm sorry! No more singing! Beautiful image my friend! Have a fantastic day Danny!

Lovely little find this Danny. I have to admit I would be a bit nervous living in a house with a thatch roof having seen quite a few go up in flames around here lately but they do look the part.
