I must say that the thumbnail is the most important thing you can make. Unless people know your work they wont bother with a boring thumb when there are hundreds of other images to view. I am not familiar with your work but because the thumb you posted looked really good, I checked it out. My opinion: Absolutely fabulous work and I will remember to view your work in the future irrespective of the thumb quality.
