I was trying to explain to my lady friend in Shreveport what the phrase "government design" meant as compared to "airflow" or "color" or even "A/FX". This does the trick. I would expect to see all sorts of awful vacuum hoses and switches under the hood and have it stall at least 4 or 5 times before warming up with at least once quitting in the middle of an intersection to require shifting into N while coasting down to the accompaniment of a "pop" in the air cleaner. Outside, almost no sign of that in the paint or fender lines. Amazing how they held it in in the 1965-1975 era. Soon the CATs will come and the mice will play.
