Like Native Americans, Once they were many and dispised, now they are few and greatly admired. The Chevy pickup with short box was light and rode the gravel roads near me without bottoming or tossing one into the headliner. It fishtailed like a station wagon when empty. I almost have to laugh at the idea of some sort of hot small block in this as just "too dear." 4x4 and a 322 Loadmaster version of Buick nailhead would alter it's character to that of a heavy, hard riding thing more akin to a Powerwagon, yet it wasn't a Jeep. It was purty!!
