Description
The first explosion happened at 10:04 in the primary coolant tanks of the beta reactor. The reactor scrammed but within 4 minutes the core was exposed and went critical 3 minutes later. The resulting explosion was funnelled by the station's core along to the habitat sections. 7 minutes and 23 seconds after the first explosion, 1.2 million people were dead. The explosion ripped through the inner hull and along the conduit spaces before the pressure ruptured the outer hull. The main blast then reached the outer limits of teh station, 5.3 miles from the reactor and the station vaporised in the harsh vacuum.
This is kind of a WIP, since I'm not happy with textures in Carrara yet. (Still need to read that bit of the manual)

Damn! draculaz & lemonjim stole my thoughts!! I am totally amazed and impressed by this, drawbridgep. The lighting and atmosphere... are wickedly beautiful, very effective! Excellent point of view, it gives a sense of the viewer being below the flying crafts. I see "mag cover" or "movie poster" for this. I am truly blown away.

I like it! The textures are a bit flat, although, given the quality of Carrara's lighting, I would have assumed that this was on purpose had you not mentioned it. Nice POV and I especially like the composition.

Looks cool! I like the POV and action you have produced. I think the lens flares may be spoiling it a bit though. Did you use those for the ship jets? You could try using some plain brushes or open up Universe image creator; which is great for that sort of effect. Excellent job all the same:)
