Description

Hello All! On Sunday we took our new car out for a family drive out towards Ventura. On the way there we passed dozens of orange fields ripe for the picking and a little sleepy town called Fillmore. I felt that get out of the car now pull. And suddenly said "Mike stop the car!!..

Boy the Tennessee Vols fans would love that train LOL! It certainly is a fine example of Americana. Good that you listened to the little voice that said stop. Bravo!

Ahh.. you've brought back my youth. I have always had a weakness for trains..when I was a little boy, I was fascinated by this kind of engines, the Santa Fe in particular.. anyway... ehh.. this is so beautiful... thanks for sharing and for bringing back my youth and congrats on having this picture in the Gallery.

This is a superb image with vibrant colours, great composition and perfect exposure but that describes all of your masterpieces. I also love the story of the day out in the new car and the history of the loco - it puts the image into perspective and enables us to share a wonderful day. You are without doubt one of the top photographers here and could easily go professional - much of your work has a commercial value and is very publishable. Keep up the great work - Bravo! V
