A Dutch good friend introduced me to R'osity... and now, I really feel good in this community : I enjoy a lot your friendship and comments !BIOWith a few exceptions (indicated), I'm using a simple CANON Digital IXUS i... Sometimes, I do some postwork using ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5, but I just installed Adobe PhotoShop 7.0...
But now, after having seen all these beautiful shots, I just bought (Nov 2004) myself a new camera : NIKON 70 D !
I'm a chemist, leading a small R&D team in polymers (My greatest pleasure is to stimulate creativity...) I'm also studying to become a patent attorney...
I'm living in Belgium and enjoy travelling, hiking (going out every week-end is a vital must !), reading (my French preferred authors are Marc Ly, Jean-Christophe Grang Amie Nothomb,...), music (great fan of US female voices : Jennifer Warnes, Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, ...) and ... photography ! :~)
Bien cordialement aussi aux amis francophones !

Somehow, I always feel a connection to anyone practicing martial arts as I have a 1st Dan in JKA as well. Lovely portrait!

It was the Tai Chi in the title that attracted me too (I studied Tai Chi for a while during a house move - but I've gone back to my main love which is Wing Chun), Any way it's a great photo, the look you've captured in his eyes is fantastic, the B&W works really well too.

Merveilleux portrait denfant. Le noir et blanc lui donne ainsi que son doupage un cachet de vieille photo jaunie retrouv au hasard dans un ancien album de famille.
