A Dutch good friend introduced me to R'osity... and now, I really feel good in this community : I enjoy a lot your friendship and comments !BIOWith a few exceptions (indicated), I'm using a simple CANON Digital IXUS i... Sometimes, I do some postwork using ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5, but I just installed Adobe PhotoShop 7.0...
But now, after having seen all these beautiful shots, I just bought (Nov 2004) myself a new camera : NIKON 70 D !
I'm a chemist, leading a small R&D team in polymers (My greatest pleasure is to stimulate creativity...) I'm also studying to become a patent attorney...
I'm living in Belgium and enjoy travelling, hiking (going out every week-end is a vital must !), reading (my French preferred authors are Marc Ly, Jean-Christophe Grang Amie Nothomb,...), music (great fan of US female voices : Jennifer Warnes, Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, ...) and ... photography ! :~)
Bien cordialement aussi aux amis francophones !

Michel, What an expressive face wonderfully framed by the leaves. He could be a grandad playing hide and seek with the little ones. Wonderful pic and compo!

Gial ce portrait Michel ! J'adore avec les feuillages sur sa barbe. Il a une bonne bouille Marcel, donne envie de boire un canon avec lui et de parler de la Terre !!! Bisous

Je suis infiniment triste...I'm immensely sad... Back home today after one week in the mountains I learned that our friend Marcel passed away 4 days ago ... This wonderful musician & grand-father was born on November 1st, 1939 and died suddenly on June 19th, 2006... I captured this portrait on June 3rd, while Marcel was watching his grand children on stage for the Fancy-Fair of "La Petite Ecole" ("The Little School") in Gentinnes... His death announcement opened with a quote from Vincent Van Gogh : "Il n'y a rien de plus rllement artistique que d'aimer les gens" ("I tell you, the more I think, the more I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people. ")
