Description

"It is conventional to call 'monster' any blending of dissonant elements. I call 'monster' every original inexhaustible beauty." -Alfred Jarry "Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it." "I am not strange, I am just not normal." "The difference between false memories and true ones is same as for jewels: it is always the false ones that look the most real, the most brilliant. -quotes by Salvador Dali/I>

Like a pile of the random surreal thoughts of Kenny Scharfe or Salivador Dali, this boatload of Chihuly glass sculptures is certainly something you don't see every day. ----- Many thanks for your crusty comments on my last upload, Monster Beyond the Arch. ;o]

Ok! besides the new format around here, this is just freaky!!! I gotta wonder about these tentacles and the lily pond they are floating around. I love the picture but the boat thing is just plain tacky. Am I missing something or is this someones idea of creative decorating of a pond. lol KP

"..don't see everyday"??? How about never!! Wow!! A glass "Party" in a boat, if ever I saw it!! Was this a permanent installation? or did you watch some art "Event"? Absolutely stunning!! Vote, uh...er...YOU know what I mean!! ; )

what a wild place you have there. I bet the sculpture got paid lots of money. an artist in El Paso was killed when his sculpture fell loose from the hoist

We have a massive Chihulhy in the Milaukee Art Museum. Very colorful, not very practical. His work is best seen in a zero-G environment.

The intermediate thumb (which is what the fewking thing is) really screwed up your image. But the color and composition were brilliant, so I thought to myself--TwoPynts is better than this. Two clicks and voila--another masterpiece. (if you read the forums the smart aleck little geek tried to blame one's browser, then later admitted the program was ORDERING the browser to make the intermediate thumb, hehe). Edit: incidentally, in my "Amorphia Remembers" the "intermedite thumb" is rather plainly unveiled, in animation, for the piece of crap it is, conceptually and technically, and without the need to go to Heidelberg.
