Description

Thank you for visiting this recent experiment of mine! I'm sorry to say that I've been busy for the last little while and haven't had much time for commenting or posting. Please feel free to leave any comments you like, I do appreciate your remarks. This piece, I've been working on (and off) for the last two weeks. I enjoy toying with reflection and refraction in Poser inspite of the additional rendering time required. On this occation, I tried to make the sky a little more alien in appearence. The most important lesson here is that background elements standing further away than ten times the scale of the forground scene really should be incorporated into the official Poser Background. Such elements are pretty much at infinaty anyways and doing so makes life SOOOOOOOOO much easier when working with refraction. The Background, including clouldscape, was created by myself. I developed it by rendering the various Background elements in Poser and layered them on top of eachother using GIMP 2.2. The resulting composition was then assigned as the Background for this rendering. As always, I like to give special thanks to those artists who's free contributions were used in my renderings. Wolfie at www.wolfiesden.com for the terrific Moon/Planet prop. James Hastings-Trew at planetpixelemporium.com for the texture map of the Earth.
