Description

Inspired by Scottish scenery, but completely imaginary of course, hope you get the pun in the title :) This was actually an almost insane eco system work, because I decided to make the grass cover with actual objects for the foreground terrain. Perhaps it's a little too distinct in the foreground but the cover works very well in the distance, e.g around the castle, IMHO. But after all the majority of the 10.800 mio polys come from the conifer covered hillside. Now, the trees are unnecessarily complex for plain background trees, but anyway :) Vue 5 Infinite render, a few trees from Vue, the rest are made in Onyxtree. Grass and pebbles / stones with Bantam3D "Grass 7". Flowers from my own freestuff collection. "Rural Castle" by rodluc2000 - thanks a lot. 4 hrs. render in "Broadcast" with Global Ambience. Some minor adjustments in Photoshop CS. Thanks for viewing - comments etc. very much welcome and appreciated. Have a nice day - Lars

Sorry i'm late, just catching up on outstanding comments. Superb lighting and veg, one small thing, the castle looks a bit small compared to the surroundings, but fits in with the location very nicely.
