Description
Took a walk into the volcano lava fields today to find this skylight. Hot fluid lava is flowing very fast under me and thru this lava tube. The heat coming out were tremendous and when the wind shifted towards me, I had to get out and away from the hot air fast. Its like putting your head in an oven. Aloha and thank you for viewing

Great danger You had to face to have a fantastic shot. I can not help feeling about You capture shows us the earth's wound! Hope one day I will have this experience, I am sure is worth every hot moment of it!

I've always been a huge fan of your lava shots!!! I remember you saying that it burned the hair right off of your legs?? What a cool (hot) capture Errol! I know the head in the oven feeling, but here it must have been ten fold! I do not see Madame Pele in this one...I guess she will be showing herself soon? ;^P

hope you had some really thick shoes. I have heard that people's shoes has actually burnt out from under them. this is too close for comfort, but I thank you for putting your life in peril and sharing the fruits
