Tx so much to all of the comments and clicks on yesterday's image!!! Really appreciated!
I can't remember the name of this guy either - I seem to think it starts with an S, C or G.
I do know that it was the cat that was outside our tent in 1998 while I was in the Okovango Delta in Botswana on a school trip. Our tent was the on right at the end of the row, 6 ppl in. And the guide sayd to us if you hear noises in the morning don't worry it's just the hippos and crocs going to the water before sunrise. I thought he was joking. But low and behold - for 3 mornings all we heard was the grunting of moving hippos. You think crocs are dangerous, go and read up about hippos...
And the one night myself and another girl were coming out of our tent and saw two eyes looking at us. Yes just like in the cartoons. And we froze. The cat jumped out the bushes and darted off to the side, that's something I'll NEVER forget!!!

C...as in Cheetah? Or....G as in Gertrud? Oooh, maybe it was S as in Steve? Who knows. All i know is that its a beautiful cat that you photographed really beautifully even though you can slightly see the fence...or maybe its tent-lines thats crossing in the foreground. Have a great day PeeWee. #:O)

Very unusual capture Vera, as it is not common to see the serval's fangs. As for the crocs and hippos, they are choosy and I've also never been attacked by either, LOL!

WOW!!! This is a real African Wild COGO cat!! or at least that is what we call it.. And you did a really good job here Vera hehehe.. Those are my favorite pets (O_O).. Nice post and angle.. Keep them comming if you can please.. I can see it in a zoo behinde the cage tho (Steel) i can see it in the pic.. Hopefull next time you can get a cheap lens hat/cap so you can touch the steel without scratching you cam so they won't appear.. But no matter what.. I love it and i adore your posts honey..
