Description

This is a follow up to my recent post. I figured since my captain is the hero so to speak he needs a protaganist. So I present J.D. Helms the bounty hunter and her loyal companion Bruce. Helms may seem human but only in apperance. On her homeworld what we would consider Olympian level atheletism would be considered weak by her people's standards. Natural evolution has made her people the known as the Lance feared throughout the galaxy as bounty hunters, soldiers and law enforcement. Bruce despite apperances is smart for a four legged creature. He can understand most spoken dialect and can usually judge the needed force to take down a bounty on the run. Helms told him they're worth more alive than dead. His land speed is slighty below that of horse and strength is about that of an adult elephant. Yet he still loves to have his belly scratched. J.D has never lost a bounty but then she has never come across Captain Russell and his crew before. Can even her high tech weaponery, natural abilities, intensive training and Bruce be enough to bring in Russell? Let me know what you guys think.

Dramatic scene and lighting. I LOVE the overall texturing effect that you have applied to the entire scene. What did you do to get that?

Wow thank you all for the feedback. Spain I got the effect using AdamWright's Postwork Actions for Photoshop, specifically the cold and sharp combined with the sharpen filter. It's now available in the Postwork Actions Combo Pack.

Really an awsome peice. The combination of tech style backround combined with the fierce tribal style of Helms and her mount Bruce (heh, love the name) makes for a beautifull combination and highlites the fiercness, steel and tribal combine to make a wonderfull picture. Great work and I like the backstory, it adds to the image's power. ^^

Thank you morin3000 your words really show how much my work can be appreciated, your words humble me considering you talent for photography I'm very flattered. Crimson Desire I'm glad you really like this as well, I learned adding a back story to an image from the TalonGe his work is not only amazing but it really adds impact with the stories he adds to them.

"Pray For Her Prey!" Teeheehee: it's a play on words, get it?!? Because she's a Bounty Hunter, who hunts for prey, and her prey needs to be prayed for, because once she & her pet are after them, they have no hope of escape, and.....erhm, mmmkay, I think I'll quit while I'm ahead, now.......(^_^)

Wow this one really takes me thanks for looking back at some of my older works. Maybe I should try redoing these characters to see if I can improve on this old idea.
