Description

This image was created for a 2 part tutorial for Imagine FX magazine, which aims to show how it is possible to model and texture a ship (relatively easily) in the style of Chris Foss - a well known and influential sci-fi airbrush artist. Modeled, textured and rendered in C4D9.6, with clouds added in Photoshop. Cheers :)

Chris Foss will be very proud. Nice retro piece. Maybe the model could be a little less shiny, it looks too new. BTW love these impossible textures!

How can you not love all of those old artists who illustrated so many favourite sci-fi covers, Chris Foss, Peter Elsen, Jim Burns and the like. This is a memorable homage. Well done.
