I had originally posted this in the lightwave gallery but a lot of the purists in there didn't like it so i'm posting it here.

btw all the scenery was modelled by me in lightwave .... stained glass window is from a photo of one of the windows in a church just down the road from me. rendered in lightwave

looks really good chem - love the scene, poses and textures. the touch of mistiness along the floor also gives it more depth. theres one tip i can give, if youre interested: the room looks very good, but a touch too 'perfect' - mainly in the lines where the walls meet the ceiling. could be solved with texturing or perhaps in the mesh itself..in max id use digimation quickdirt, dunno if theres anything like that for LW. try worley labs i believe they had a free dirt plugin. cheers, -gabriel

Awesome pic...can't imagine why the LW people didn't like it. I'm pretty sick of the whole "purist" ideal: art is art regardless of the software or medium used.

Very good, the princess looks like a Sheena Easton/Hale Berry lookalike :-) Dragon is very nice, like the details. If I would offer any critique, it would be that I belive it to be "to clean" but that is artists choice and not really something to catch on.
