Description

Okay back to the zoo ... Tx to all who viewed and posted comments on yesterday's image. I see sports isn't a big thing here - but let's see if we can change that?! Anyway - I can't remember what type of wolf this is but boy was it tall. I was amazing because this was actually the first time I'd seen a wolf. Hope y'll like. Have an awesome hump-day!!!

Ohhhh boy! If you don't mind I'd like to print this one and show it to my son at home. When he was only 2, I told him the story of Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. Since then it became his and Dad's story. Only, Dad changes the story each time and poor Wolf is always in trouble, always gets into trouble and is a very bad character. Poor thing! giggle You did a terrific job of capturing him Vera! Well done!

Excellent POV and I am not sure either! Looks like the aardwolf but not sure as the mane/fur is too short.

Could it be that this animal is native to South-America? Then it could be the Maned Wolf... What a world hey! Gorgeous captures, Vera!

if it is not a Maned Wolf, as girsempa suggests, then i would say Ethiopian wolf, 'the rarest canid in the world....endemic to the highlands of Ethiopia'. please read the label on the pen properly next time... ! both are leggy animals of open country, with long snouts for catching small rodents.
