About Area 51:
Area 51 (also known as Dreamland, Watertown Strip, Paradise Ranch, The Farm, The Box, Groom Lake, and The Directorate for Development Plans Area) is a remote tract of land in southern Nevada, owned by the federal government of the United States, containing an airfield apparently used for the secret development and testing of new military aircraft. It is also famed as the subject of many UFO theories.
The U.S. government does not explicitly acknowledge the existence of the Groom Lake facility, nor does it deny it. The base does not appear on public U.S. government maps.
One major theory is that Area 51 is a place which simulates the environment of the moon. In 2000-2001, Fox Television broadcasted a show about Apollo moon landing hoax accusations, in which it was suggested that the whole moon landing in 1969 was a hoax and was filmed in parts of Area 51. Soviet satellite photography indicates that parts of Area 51 resemble the moon's surface, as shown in the moon landing video.

I have been to Little Alien Inn which isn't far from area51 and it is indeed very remote...almost soundless!! I love the ship and its almost realistic appearance, a very fine job here. Lightpen

Really great speculative artwork. Major stumbling block on the area 51 myth is that the area is guarded by pinkerton rent-a-cops; not by active duty military nor by any other specialized professionals. I cannot believe that a high national classified resource would be protected by $9.00 per hour door shakers. As to Lazar ... all government employees with the highest security clearaces sign a security document swearing 20 years of secrecy. Those of us who signed it know darned well that the government is dead serious ... Rumors and suppositions aside; you have done some darned good fiction work here. Thanks for sharing Dwayne
