Description
Glassblowing may seem interesting and creative, but sitting there all through a long, hot day, staring at the flame, making tschotkes for tourists, was just about all that this bored Beijing beauty could stand.

I remember, nelsone, when you & I would use the kitchen stove to blow glass from melted pipettes. I learned just how delicate it can be. Weeks later, something on the shelf would go pop, and it would be that creation that wasn't quiiiiite tempered enough, stresses finally built up and bingo. I'm sure that after the 1000th tourist souvenir, she's pretty good at it. So, you can say I enjoyed this nice clear and well-composed shot. bravo!
