Will You Join Me?
Standing amongst the flowers,
are gentle soulful eyes.
In this heart is longing,
where soulful truth there lies.
We spoke of hopes and wishes,
not so long ago.
But this was not the first time,
of this you may not know.
The prose that you had sent to me,
you sent me once before.
You came onto my path of life,
you knocked upon my door.
My arms are always open,
for friends who find their way.
Kick off your shoes, sit down, relax,
for a while will you stay?
Feast upon my table,
share with me the wine.
We'll talk of dreams and wishes,
share a smile while we dine.
For when two souls discover,
that they were meant to know,
that in this simple pleasure,
friendships sure to grow.
