Description

When an Amazon army was severely defeated in Terran Year 3671, the reason was simple. Like most interstellar forces, the Amazons envisaged that wars would be fought exclusively with lightspeed energy weapons. Their troops were equipped to face energy-fire so, when the enemy sprayed them with explosive projectiles, the Amazons lacked protection and their medics lacked expertise. Predictably, of course, the Amazons bounced back and soon turned the tables, but now they have to expect any opponent to include at least a sprinkling of old-style projectile weapons. Hence the girls' new MultiSkin armoursuits. The outer skin is the main anti-energy layer, but it is reinforced with self-repairing NanoMail, which offers little defence against rays, but ensures that bullets do as little damage as possible and quickly mends what they do make. The inner skinsuit adds another line of defence against projectiles and explosives. Combat-visors would complete the uniform in a real fight, so this unit is clearly on exercise. Basically, a second-skin applied directly to V3, with the V3 Catsuit made semi-transparent and combined with a chainmail texture.
