I intentionally set this to "resize" for those of you with smaller monitors, but I hope you'll take the time to click the "zoom in" feature to see the image at full size. Note, the width at full size is 1776, heheheh. I really blew the exposure setting this time. I guess I had one too many margaritas, lol. Anyway, I didn't check my presets and shot this at a high ISO (so the full size images are pretty noisy) and at a wide open aperture (so the highlights are way blown and not very colorful). Still, I managed to salvage some photos for a collage and they don't look too bad at a lower resolution. Where I live in Florida, people are really into fireworks on 4th of July and New Year's Eve. Many neighbors put on very high quality shows. Some of them probably spend several thousand dollars for one night's entertainment. From my backyard, I saw about 10 "private" fireworks displays. Thank goodness it didn't rain! ----- Thanks for your furtive comments on my last upload, In The Shadows Lurk.

I'm still looking for the full size people :D These are brilliant Kort - shooting fireworks is something I've never tried but I'm sure it ain't easy to get them looking this good no matter how many margaritas the photographer has had :)

Wow, well worth the wait with the zoom. Very clear shots and a great free show you had. We have fireworks on Nov. 5th down here and Xmas and New Year. I love watching them too.

Great job on this collage Kort, man talk about money going up in smoke! Looks like stadium size fireworks....Over here you need to buy a $25 license just to get fireworks, then aerials are illegal...just a bunch of crappy little fire crackers is all your allowed to set off. Man if we had this kind of action in the neighborhood the cops would be here pronto! Great shots all of them....Aloha Braddah!

Wow those are fantastic and so crisp and clear! I am amazed at the quality of fireworks that you can buy to shoot off in your backyard these days, it looked like this around my neighborhood too. Beautiful captures!
