Description

Now this ride I liked. We got into the park early, and went staight for the Hulk. I tryed not to watch it as we approached, I tryed to ignore the regular screams of horror coming from it. We did the parent swap thing which meant I didn't queue, I waited in a side room with my daughter, I had no build up to this, no long queue to dull your anticipation, before I knew it my wife was off and I was on....on the FRONT seat of the incredible new ride at Universals' Islands of Adventure. I had no idea what to expect or what it did. As with most roller-coasters you climb steeply and slowly up before the fun begins. But the Hulk starts off in a huge tunnel pointing skyward and it chugs away up hill until about halfway, when your suddenly accelerated up and shot out and imedietly flipped upside down. Boy did I not expect that (remember I had the front seat). I cursed the "Eat all you like breakfast" we had just finished, but it was, without doubt, the best rollercoaster thrill I've had. I think we went on it about three more times, but none were as good as the shock of the first time on it...on the front seat too. I took this shot when I stopped shaking later! Keep your Micky Mouse!

I don't like rollercoasters either... but your description was good enough for me before I got too dizzy! :o) I like the shot of it from the ground almost into the sun there. I think living it through your adventure is quite enough for me now.

Is that a safety net on the lower left? You and your wife are more brave than I. Net or no net, I wouldn't/couldn't do it. Cool Shot!

I think the net is there to stop things falling onto people below from folk on the ride, you know like wallets and wigs and cameras and stuff!
