Description

The building on the left is a candy store where they still sell the kind of candy I used to buy as a kid in the 1950s - at 1c for two sweets. They're slightly more expensive now, but I guess they're antiques. :) Next door is a restaurant called "Hell" (the word "De" in front of it means "the"). A (not "an") historic building, it used to be a pub, and I used to frequent it in the early 1970s, but we all have to go along with the times. While some panels look rather demonic, some angels and the Virgin Mary with her child on top seem to be inviting the faithful. In case you're wondering, I wasn't falling over when I took this picture. It was a bit tricky to capture the entire building with a traffic sign on my right and a parked car in front of me in this narrow street.
