Description

Well, I'm back, all you mighty Rositeers... This last of three images was to be created yesterday but got delayed. One of my favorite people, Linda (Elusive-butterfly) had a major crisis. She allowed an update to her firewall and it locked up her net access. She sought professional help and they advised her to do a system RECOVERY. She explained she had lots of valuable data and didn't want it lost. She was assured that this would only roll-back the last installed update. The dumb tech was confused.. He was supposed to do a system RESTORE. That would have been harmless.. as it was, his directions caused a RE-FORMAT of her hard drive and auto-reinstalled the basic operating system. She lost a great deal of work. She was devastated, as was her PC. I helped her re-install all the lost programs yesterday. So... Make sure you ALL know the difference between "Restore" and "Recovery" so this doesn't happen to you someday. (and don't trust those idiots) Anyway, this is the final installment of my 3 part epic mini-series in pursuit of giving George (Coolcatcom) something to laugh about. If it doesn't make sense then you might want to preview my previous "George" posts. Hugs to all and it's back to work I go next week. I'll be catching up on everyones galleries then. Bye Bye for now... have a great week ahead. Love from Dave :^) Models via Wings3D Background rendered in Bryce5.5 Don (George) from Poser5 Touchup in Corel Paint 8

excellent use of props and I do not understand the idea but a superb pose on the man and expression.some of the people that are "tech support" leaves alot to be desired.especially when you get somebody from India or Pakitsan that has a heavy accent and wants to talk like a banshee rooster

It looks like George could use some lesson on how to use his tools, and be careful what you ask for. Very funny and great rendering , everything looks so real. I sure learned a great lesson "the hard way" I am so blessed to know you and for your talents and your time, which I know is so valuable. I have cryied for my losses and now I am looking forward to learning and growing and creating. THANK YOU SO MUCH MY DEAR DEAR FRIEND WITH ALL MY HEART XXXOOO

It looks like He gave you a big break. George, I think the neighbors just lost their house. Oh yes, very expensive indeed. What a great pic, Dave, and the fun your making for all of us Rositers to laugh at. What a mind. I'm so proud of you, for making everyone of us laugh...Silkylady...

Hey ol buddy nothing expensive about it ! My neighbour (lived) in an old run down shack and didn't have the money to have it torn down or remodled. Heck I did him a huge favour. Now the only problem I have is collecting from him, because I figure he ows me a bundle the bum ! Can you assist me here "Young Fella" You know Dave you can make a ton of cash by not knowing your tools........you've shown and proved this.! What's next ? George!

That's why I backup my files to DVD all the time, I am my own tech so it would be my fault anyway, will be building a new system next month with two 500 gig drives, 2 gigs of ram and 3.6 processor. Like you cartoon image to complete the tale, reminds me of my 50ft tree that blew over in the wind about 4 weeks ago, luckily it didn't damage anything except for my time to cut it up in section, my nieghbor took the wood for his fireplace, have a great week!
