Description

This is my second real attempt at a male image and my second post to these here forums. Surprising to many folks is the fact I'm using James for this image with my own texture for him. His hair is postwork and although I wanted to add some underarm and chest hair I decided against it at the last minute. The image was rendered in Carrara --my first attempt at Carrara anyways. I hope you guys enjoy my take on the ever popular Wolverine. Hate it? Love it? Just want to chat? Let me know it all, I'm really curious to get feedback on this one and for some reason I really haven't gotten much. Thank you in advance for your time and for viewing! Enjoy! Cheers!

I think you've done a really good job. I love the pose and POV...the claws in the foreground are positioned perfectly, the dogtags are a great touch. Super job on the hair, also. The snarl is "off" somehow...maybe just a little bit too much on the upper lip? A tiny bit less and maybe a less uniform would look better. All in all no question that's Logan!

Yeah, I don't know why you haven't gotten much feedback, this is freaking insane!! I've always wanted to do a Wolvie pic, but after seeing this one, I think it would pale in comparison. The expression is dead on and the tension is perfect. Very well done!

Thank you all for you comments! I really appreciate all the feed back I've gotten here. I may post here more often now :D I'm surprised that noone caught the one detail of an image reflecting on his claws but if you didn't view the larger image, you may have missed that! Excellent job. I don't like superheroes much but you've done a superb job. Fantastic expression. I would have seen the woman reflected on his claws if you hadn't said anything. 8-) His hair is top work.
