Description

G'day. This one is the road up the Black Spur which is a steep mountain road just north east of Healesville, Victoria, Australia. It is renowned for its huge Eucalyptus (gum) trees and dense (cold/wet) fern forests and always has this dark/mysterious feel about it. There is very little walking trails on either side of the road as its fairly impenetrable (a real wild place). These are our tallest gum trees in Australia up to 100m high. I took this last week on my way up to Catherderal range (but no snow) still it was enjoyable in the wet!! Luckily no cars came by whilst i had my tripod out, it was about 8.30am in the morning. BEAUTIFUL!!!! BEAUTIIIIFUUUUUUUL!!!!! Winding roads, naked trees and mist...can it get any better? Well maybe if you had some rays of light struggling to get through that forest, but life just isnt that kind, lol. Gorgeous work once again Louise. Have a smashing day mate. #:O)
