Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

O yes I see them too....very interesting to look for a longer time...how longer you stare at how more you see in there....yesterday Danob showed me some landscapes with cliffs and rocks...and I noticed also some faces in there...super shot.....cool!!!

Sometimes I see them when you point them out, but in this case, I see surreal form and shape. I find the science and nature behind the formations fascinating, tho, so each to his own "pleasures." The rock in this picture is melt, while much of the lava seen stateside is blast fall - very different. Someday perhaps I'll get the chance to visit, but meanwhile, thanks for showing us this.
