Just another struggling artist with a passion for 3D computer graphics. I was first inspired by the works of Jean Giraud (a.k.a. Moebius) of "Heavy Metal" fame, hence the tribute in my online moniker. My 3D CGI tool of choice is LightWave, but I have recently started mucking about with digital photography. Other tools include Vue Infinite and DAZ|Studio. I also work in Photoshop and CorelDraw to cover the 2D graphics stuff.
I don't have too much patience for setting up final renders, because my interests lie in modeling. "Non-organic" modeling, or "hard surface" modeling, in the sci-fi genre to be specific. So the bulk of the images in my gallery are modeling WIP's and design studies, the rest are photos and a few quick sketches. I consider myself a hobbyist, because I am still at a level where my skills definitely need a lot more improvement.
I'm an architect by training, and work as Studio Manager for an architectural/interiors design office. I was born, raised and educated in the Philippines, but am currently based in Bangkok, Thailand where I live my wife, "Kanittha", our son "Nio" and our cat "Samuel".
Thank you very much for looking up my page.

Looks pretty nicely done, nice detail. I often hate converting 3DS meshes, cause sometimes it doesn't convert right so I have to fix everything. Nice work ^^

Very nicely done....looks like a photo it is so real..

Thanks. Greeg72 - can't remember where I got that 3DS mesh, but it took me 4 hours to convert, optimize and resurface. Could use another 4 hours though. I had a problem with the sky for this image. I couldn't get sky tracer and hypervoxels to work together, so I tried a background image instead... that didn't work either. I had to settle for a gradient sky. What am I doing wrong?

Sweet stuff dude! I cant seem to get those hypervoxels to behave..hehe, they probably have this anti crappy computer code. If the pc sucks, they dont work lol!
Hellmark
KICK ASS!!

WOW by looking at your home pahe your the MAN!! Nice work!

great detail in the tank..makes you wonder whats over the hill!

Thank you :) Wish I could take credit for the tank, but I downloaded this one several years ago while still mucking around in 3DS - can't remember where I found it tho. I only resurrected the mesh and converted it to LWO. Discovered a nifty little trick with hypervoxels also. You don't need to animate them to make them work in a still render. Just use a column/cone of points and play with the hypervoxels settings. You'll get better control of massing, and if you build it remembering to rest-on-ground it becomes easy to pretend that there's wind blowing using rotation in layout. - Mbius87

The tracks in the sand really add that extra realistic touch to this image. Great work :)

You are too kind, m'lady. Bump map created using a wacom tablet and the inability to draw straight lines. 1 color map layer, a displacement map, 2 diffusion maps and 3 bump maps (including the tracks in the sand).

Very cool image! another great job =-)

fine work, and i like the compotition too. maybe a bit, just a little bit more colours/details on the smokes? please check out japa's world end series for comparison.

I love this rendering, the 1st one with tanks on renderosity that I saw.
