Interesting idea. When my father-in-law passed away this year we found a small bag of indianhead pennies. But I have jars of pennies and never one when I need it. lol

75% of my purchase is plastic/check. I say keep it, a penny is a penny. Of course the paranoid optimist will say it's only a Governmental plot to strike fear in all those that never exchange their penny's and are hording them. I wonder how just how many pennies have been turned in since this blog hit? LOL!
