Description

So we have a little display representing global warming. There's a slight smell of burning plastic in the air. The glowing range element represents humankind's stupidity as far as causing most of the problems we face. Imagine there's a line of politicians, world leaders and captains of industry and you ask each one how they would stop the Earth from melting, in this display. Nine out of ten will either be electrocuted by pouring ice water on it, or blow themselves up by the old "pouring gasoline on a fire" syndrome. The common sense answer would be to unplug the element, or flip the wall switch off, thus preventing further damage. Oddly enough, this is seldom considered because it is much too easy.

I think you give 9 out of 10 too much credit for taking any action at all. Excellent idea and Image as is usual.

Well done and stated. Another sloution,................we could pray for a natural disaster that would wipe 98% of the human race off the face of the planet. Or not.

Brilliant image lol, Im getting real sick of all governments, global warming could easily be solved. The technology for water fueled cars has been around for years and years but the fuel companies wouldnt be too happy about them being released, a little bribe here and a little bribe there, governments are so corrupt. Also planes guzzle out tons of carbon just restrict air travel that would help a bunch, Wind farms, Solar power so many solutions sorry for the rant lol, Great pic lol

It's also considered "bad for the economy." Go figure! This one's especially appropriate for me, because I just saw the "An Inconvenient Truth" with Al Gore. Whether you like Gore or don't, all responsible people on this planet ought to see that movie.

Nice one; and well put. A pool of water on the floor from the melted ice caps, with maybe a frayed cable lying in it might complete the scene, hey, but I'm using hindsight sparked by your excellent illustration.

No, no, no. The politicians would requisition a fan to plug into the free top outlet---this would be most profitable for the electric companies, who would contribute money to their election campaigns. Apart from your always first-rate production values, this scores top marks for high-class satire. Well done!
