Description

Created this for an As Shanim contest, then decided not to enter it as it was a bit wide of the theme... ah well... had fun with it anyway so thought I'd pop it up here. Plus, was over to see my Nan about a week ago, and she expressed some very strong opinions on a young lady we'd seen whilst out shopping. I felt it was rather a shame that whilst my first thought had been 'gosh, she's beautiful!', my Nan's was 'that's disgusting, she should have that covered up!'.... the lady in question was about 8 months pregnant and wonderfully proud of that fact. I really feel it's a shame that Nan was raised in an era that considered nudity & birth to be dirty and should be hidden - and I hope this attitude is fading ... celebrate your skin in all it's shapes and stages. Forget what the fashion mags tell you - we are each a unique and beautiful creature, after all. Have fun and happy rendering! Please feel free to leave any comments or constructive criticism you fancy :) Skip1871 Credits: As Shanim, various sets of gear. Window is Daz3d's Radience of Spirit freebie, Owl is Daz again - Noggins Poser Owl, photobackground was somewhere in the Cotswolds, flock of birds brush was a freebie, but I can't remember where from .. possibly Obsidian Dawn?

A very touching image in very harmonic colors. Love the idea of a tribal tatoo on her belly. Bravo! Beautiful work!

Oh my, that is beautiful Skip!!! Wonderfully done, and I too think it's cute to see the mommy to be tummy sticking out. I think it's rather cute. Love the pose and expression. She looks like the adventurous type, and with that expression it looks like she rather be out and about, but her condition is keeping her away from the fun she would usually be having. I love the owl and the flock of passing birds too I think it's a very nice touch. Love the lighting! Your pics are just a joy to look at!

That is so very true. Nothing is more beautiful than a pregnant women - well, except from the ones who turn into dragons of course...LOL (and I don't mean that literally either). I like this because it's different. When it comes to Poser and women, most people tend to make them so darn perfect (done that myself too) and no one is perfect really. It's something in the light and her pose that looks like a promise of tomorrow...it's very nice :D Oh..and I did read your entire bio btw. :D

I'm one who is unimpressed with pregnant women as over population is a serious problem; anyone can have a baby. Being able to afford one, and help shape them into a responsible adult is whole other matter. That being said this is a very nice image!
