There's long green in them there cornfields, hehe. But this is midget Zucchini. I never understood British low comedy until I saw my first altogether serious television newscast in England, which reported among other things, that Mr. X and his wife had just won the local Garden Club Giant Zucchini Contest. The Zucchini looked to be the size of a small burro. And were they speaking about it or to it? This was followed shortly by a visit to the local pub with my British host. I sat down at a table and a man came up to me and said, "Rrrrrryunk?". After three tries I finally asked for translation. It involved a tree-shredding machine made in the States and the fellow eventually became the "Tree Nutter". But it's a long story. Both ears and the tail! Ole!

Well, I'm jealous as can be :( My zucchinis are stunted and I've got a borer bug running amok in the stems. So far I've gotten to eat 1/2 of one small one, the other half had to be tossed. So? What's your secret?

Looks like a little smaller than the ones I seen here in Texas, but it's still a mighty fine size. Thanks for the fun!
