Description

This was taken in Claudia and Troy's neck of the woods. We traveled a small portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. This is just some of the beautiful mountains we saw on our way to Mt. Mitchell. Thank you all for looking and thank you for the wonderful words of encouragement. :)

There was no color enhancement on the photo. This is the true colors of these lovely mountains. :)

Yes, somehow the feeling you get when you come around a corner and see a view like this never gets old. Something inside just kind of flips and you have to catch your breath and smile. This photo conveys that sense of magnificence to me.

I traveled a bit of this road from Va to NC back 5 yrs ago...the views were awesome and there was plenty of wildlife along the trip. Excellent photo!

Wonderful capture of the great Blue Ridge. One of my dearest memories of this area was on a cold December morning as the sun broke over the Ridge. It is truly a fantastic and amazing area. Thank you for thinking of us. HUGS!!
