Description

So here is one of the most beautiful dogs. I know the focus is really not in the best spot but you've gotta understand these animals NEVER stand still and focusing is def an art - I'm sure our birdy photographers can appreciate this :) But look at the DOF!!! Tx so much to glennn23 for my Llama!!! He's so cute!!!

LOL! LOOK AT THE DOF!!! LOL. Thats cute. #:o) But yes you are right, the DOF is great while the focus could have been better. What kind of focus do you use? AF and multiple dots or singular? And if they move around alot, perhaps you can try to put your camera in continuing focus, just like the bird-photographers do, and then pan with the moving animal. Sure is a beautiful shot though. It must really be difficult to get a good shot of a wild dog, as they are usually much to frightened to stop for a moment. Good shot! Hugs for you.

Know what you mean about the difficulty of focusing - I can barely get the focus on a domestic dog. The other day one finally felt sorry for me and laid down and posed for me - that was the best I could do... hehe. However, I do agree that the DOF and overall composition are superb!!! And you are welcome for the llama! Hope you feel better soon :( +++
