Description

First of all... huge thanks to all of you for your very gracious comments on A Tribute to Sparrows. I realized that it was not an image that would immediately grab any attention because it was rather drab as far as color goes. But I shouldn't have second-guessed you guys and gals... you always see alot further than what flashes by on the monitor... and the insight and thoughts you share make me very proud to be a part of this community. It also makes me smile out loud alot! ;) Thank you!! :) UF for the main floral bit in this one... with APO for the butterfly wings. Background and butterfly body in PSP. Thanks for clicking through... Hugs! Helen :)

Very subtle work Helen Like the papertexture very much and the shadows the fine colorwork and that little butterfly is also a very nice touche always refreshing work with a fine artistic feel and that,s really a big compliment worth Have also a critical note here I know its not done but you know me a little bit i think and i am sure you can handle it :-) I think personal that the background texture inside is a little to robust and the same as the dark outside border as you make here some diffirent texture effects example for the inside texture a little more soft it looks better in my idea or you most not use the texture in the flower focus part but keep that part clean and it jumps really out the window on another words you create then more 3d However this all what goes around in my mind as i look to your fine design So as you can see you have my full attention LOL

You did it again! A suprising fractal. Looks like you've used one, two, three, four, five, six? layers for that flower arrangement, not counting the texure-layers and shadows. That adds up to a lot :-) But what a beauty it is.

Your background looks like one of those embossed greeting cards, and the flower and your little butterfly are so vibrant that they give this a great sense of depth. At full zoom, it looks even better from across the room...even more depth. Again, your choices of colors and shadowing work in perfect harmony. Our Little Mouse does it again ;)
