Description

As I promised, here is a closer view of the San Joaquin River. My son and I hiked to these falls last July 4th, it was a 8 mile round trip, but well worth the hike! I got pretty close here, I hope you can get a feel for it! I want to thank all of you for your awesome comments on my last post, which was a more larger view of this fall.

Indeed!!! This is one with that classic, low-frequency rumble you hear from a quater of mile off. I really love the touch of blue sky in the upper corner. It looks like you got a bit of cooling spray too - probably quite welcome after such a long hike. Thanks for bringing this to us - an awesome wonder of nature.
